Man sets fire to police cruiser

HASTINGS, Mich. —
A man walked up to a police cruiser parked outside Hastings City Hall, dumped gasoline over the SUV and lit it on fire.

Surveillance video showed the gas burst into flames and engulf the vehicle.

Barry County resident Jeremy Dunklee, 31, was arrested about a block from the scene of the fire.

Dunklee was charged with arson, malicious destruction of police property, assaulting and resisting a police officer. He's also been charged as a fourth-time habitual offender, according to police.

His bond was set a $200,000.

Nah. He'll probably plead not guilty.. temporary insanity you know.. he'll get evaluated and sent to a mental home for a year or two.. get released in time for his 33rd birthday..
Then he'll commit the same crime or upgrade to assault rifle weilding inside supermarket

No chance on Earth. Winning an insanity plea is actually very rare and almost non-existent for a habitual offender. Ill keep up with this case and I’ll make a note to come back and tag you after his trial and sentencing.

30 is a very young age to be 4th time habitual offender. This means he has been committing felonies most of his life.
At this point, I doubt that he can be rehabilitated. He needs to stay in prison.
