A former Governor of Ekiti State and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Ayodele Fayose has been accused of influencing and forcing his son on the people for the national assembly elections.

The PDP leaders who claimed that it would send a negative signal to the electorates in the state wants other candidates to be given a chance to fight for the party's ticket.

They claim Fayose is bent on making his son the sole candidate of the party, even if the he's not the choice of the people.

The party leaders called on him to thread carefully for the interest of the party.

It could be recalled that the former Governor of Ekiti State and Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant in the state, Chief Segun Oni, accused Ayodele Fayose, of selling out the party’s candidate to the All Progressives Congress for his personal aggrandisement.
