The Three Hail Marys devotion has been practiced by many over the Centuries to preserve them from sin.

Do want to avoid all sin as much as possible, especially mortal sin and sins against purity during the day?
Pray three Hail Marys in the morning to preserve you from these during the day, and three Hail Marys in the evening to preserve you from a same during the night. You might always just be preserved.

You could practice the Three Hail Marys devotion daily and constantly for some other intention.

Urging dead people who themselves are unable to protect themselves from death, sorrow, etc is idolatry.

Sango/Amadioha were powerful people during their earthly time but people starting sending their request to them after their death!

God has made those in heaven capable of interceding for those on earth, that those on earth may more particularly remember the example of those in heaven, the power and Goodness of God, and the beatific vision (heaven) in itself.

Where was anyone praying to Mary or dead people in your Bible?

Idolatry it is! No doubt!

Pray directly to God. Joining partners with Him in worship is one of the greatest sin.
