Job Description
Completes KYC and haulage agreement of all registered transporters before loading.
Carries out a physical inspection of the respective truck yards of a particular transport owner
Checks the document of the trucks to ensure its registration in the name of the transport owner of his/her company.
Ensures all the drivers have a valid driving license.
Controlling the activities carried out by the contractors, ensuring their compliance with the contractual terms, and checking their performance, taking the corrective actions as necessary.
Follows up with the transporters, cross-checks, and ensures an adequate number of trucks of haulage port either at the port or client warehouse location.
Works in close coordination with the supervisor by providing accurate information related to truck sourcing and its commercials.
Makes all efforts in close coordination with client and transport owner to position trucks for loading and supervises the activity in the presence of truck drivers and loading supervisor.
Ensures the loaded cargo is well covered with tarpaulin on flatbed and side walled trucks and properly locked if it is covered body trucks/containers.
Entrusted to raise relevant documents related to the load and guide the drivers to reach the delivery point in time, ensuring safe offloading and acknowledgment on Waybills
Tracks the loaded trucks till they are delivered to the right location. Immediately brings to the notice of management for any unpleasant issue.
Follows up with transporter in timely submission of the final invoice along with PODs incomplete.

Job Requirements
BSc/HND from an accredited university degree
Minimum of 5 years cognate work experience
Computer Literate with working knowledge in the use of Microsoft office tools.
Good geographical knowledge of Nigeria
Road Transport background in Trading and Manufacturing industry preferred
Ability to treat information, data, and records confidentially
Excellent communication skills; Good interpersonal skills, using tact, patience and courtesy.
Numerical/analytical skills
A self-starter displays high ethical standards
