In a video published on his verified Facebook page, Rev Fr. Oluoma Chinenye John, a Catholic Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Nigeria, declared that sin cannot keep a man from entering Heaven.

The video has generated a lot of reactions amongst social media users.

Some commended the Reverend Father for going deep into the teaching, while others condemned him for uttering such.

Yes, sin cannot stop you from making Heaven. What will stop you is unrepentance. If you repent before death, you will make Heaven.

But this does not mean there is nor punishment for sin. Every sin has a punishment. It is just that many people think going to hellfire is the only punishment for sin.
