Short answer : Yes

Long Answer

Your 1kVA inverter may not be able to provide the surge needed to start up your fridge, even in the case of an inverter fridge that is rated between 70w and 100w the power needed to startup may be up to 1000w, This is not needed for more than a few seconds.

However on a good day when your batteries are sufficiently charged and there is no load on the inverter it could start up your fridge without problems.

Fridges are essential and any power to them must be reliable, so I advise that you do not use a 1kVA inverter for a fridge.
