Don't get it twisted..
The pitch invasion by Nigerians following the one all draw btw Nigeria and Ghana is not about football.
It's not about not qualifying for Qatar world cup.

It's about the frustration we feel about everything that has gone wrong with this country.

Unemployment, hunger, staggering corruption, decay, rising cost of everything, no electricity, no water, no food, no money , no fuel, no security, no nothing yet billions of Naira disappear every day from govt coffers.

Nigerians are lied to every minute. Every jackass thinks he can be president. They claim to have the answers to Nigeria's problems.

Universities are on strike.
Govt can't give ASUU even half of what it wants but Mr president is donating money to other countries.

We poke our rotten noses into other countries' businesses but neglect our own. Govt can't build or revamp any refinery but spends billions sustaining dead ones. And when dangote builds one ..,..... NNPC opts to buy a 20% stake for the same amount it cost to build an entire refinery.

We can't refine the oil we produce.
Now we can't even import good fuel.
Everyday Nigerians wake up to a new horror in governance. Nothing is off limit. If the mind can conceive it , this govt can enact it. And no excuse is too dumb or disgraceful .

So when our football team fails to qualify for the world cup, and there's a pitch invasion and destruction of property, it has little to do with football.

NIGERIANS ARE VENTING AND THIS IS JUST A TIP OF THE ICEBERG.

THIS MAYBE THE WIND THAT LEADS TO A STORM.
OR THE DELUGE THAT LEADS TO A MASS MOVEMENT.
NIGERIANS ARE LOOKING FOR A PLATFORM TO VENT ...... THEY ALREADY HAVE THE REASONS

Well spoken.

This article reminds me of a story I heard a long time ago. I can't even remember it clearly.

In a certain Kingdom, a tyrant ruled as king and he was so corrupt and every evil you can imagine existed there. No one dares speaks about the ills in the society least he gets killed along with his family.

However a certain young and courageous Man kept on speaking against the decay and corruption. Spoke openly against the king and his cohorts.

He was lobbied, threatened and all attempt to buy him over to the side of the Lords failed. The king and his cohorts finally decided to killed him.

The Man was charged before the court, allegations were laid and he was sentenced to death by HANGING.

On the day of his Execution. The the hang man prepared his Noose and at the kings command his victim was soon struggling with his life. After but a few seconds every where became still.

The man had fallen down. The rope with which he was hanged had cut. The man demanded to speak and he was granted audience. And he said

WE CANT EVEN MAKE GOOD HANGING ROPES ANYMORE...
