Update from SIGGY .ng Ekemini David Abasi Nse, a 400 level student of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) Ebonyi State, has been elected the National President of Education Students’ Association of Nigeria (ESAN), Siggy reports. Ekemini David who is a student of Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Education and the Chairman of the FUNAI Debating Society emerged the winner after defeating two other candidates with 48.1% of the total votes cast, in an online election that was held on 19th March 2022. ESAN is a students’ organization in the Nigerian tertiary education system, comprising students of Faculties of Education in federal, state, and private universities, and Colleges of Education.
