It's The audacity of Evil
After the recent savage butchery in a Kaduna bound train, there is No better way to explain the pattern of bloodletting unleashed across the length and breadth of Nigeria by the murderous Fulani Herdsmen. For a very long time now, this group of strange characters have turned the killing and maiming of Nigerians into their favorite national sport. They have visited all parts of the country with machetes, cudgels and guns and have unleashed a senseless brand of bloody orgy that borders on insanity. These are sadists! Within the last week, they have struck in more than half a dozen places with ease, wrecking havoc at their wake, while leaving the security agencies clutching on straws...., makes you wonder whether these are the modern day "untouchables"?

The nature and method of the killings are so gruesome and mind revolting, you start to wonder whether these acts were committed by fellow human beings; pregnant women are disemboweled, infants are beheaded grand mothers and fathers are beheaded, the blind, the deaf, the old, the disabled, the women, the children..., No one is spared! Most are killed with their skulls smashed open or with multiple matchet wounds, while many have been locked up in their houses and burnt alive! The level of beastiality here is simply uncommon.. The persistent demystification of human lives in the most violent ways possible is simply nonplussing..

While these sort of massacres were isolated events in the past, for whatever reason, they have become so common since the coming of the present administration. Not just that the killings have become more frequent, the killers have become even more audacious. For instance, after the killings in Agatu of Benue State, which claimed hundreds if not thousands of lives, the leaders of the Katel Horre Fulani herders group actually made a public statement to the fact that those killings were some sort of "reprisals" by the fulanis against the people of Agatu for the killings of fulani herdsmen in the past! Essentially, taking responsibilities for the mass murders. The leaders of this group live in Abuja uptill this day and are guarded twenty four hours of the day by the federal police! Yet, they were never arrested.. And this has become a pattern..

We have seen hundreds of Fulani herdsmen attacks across the country go unchallenged. Thousands of innocent villagers have been hacked to death in their sleep. Billions of naira worth of properties destroyed. In many of these cases, they perpetrators promised to come back if the communities attacked don't pay certain fees or relocate. They will later live up to their promises and visit same communities with even more greater terror and massacres. In many instances, especially around the middle belt, these terrorists have chased out many indigenous communities and have taken full controls of these communities while the unfortunate indigenous owners of the ancestral lands now live in refugee camps. The police and other coercive instruments of the state around these areas are all aware of these but practically do nothing.

This brings me back to my earlier question: are these people the untouchables? After tens of thousands of documented and undocumented killings, after the endless disruption of normal lifestyles and the destruction of endless properties and investments of law abiding citizens in these effected communities, after basically tearing the nation apart with their sectional killings, why is it so hard to find cases where these herders have been apprehended, tried, punished and sentenced harshly for their heinous crimes?? How is it that although in most cases, their locations and whereabouts can be easily traced by the security agencies, these murderous clan not only commit crimes with ease across the nation but they also easily get away with it? Are some people being enabled to conduct a second jihad in the country before our very eyes, while we conviniently pass these off as the acts of "ordinary" wayward criminals? If you can't even jail murderers for their crimes because of premordial attachments, how do you start to discourage would-be murderers going forward?

No their grand patron, chief commander will arrest them!

I don't really give a hoot about their predicament honestly. They were the same people shouting Sai baba up and down, so they should enjoy the sweet delicacies of a clueless government who has failed in virtually all administrative index.

Behold, another one is loading in the person of Tinubu whose only major reason to cling presidency is because it is a life long dream. Can you imagine that? Ok, look at the category of people endorsing him, saying Tinubu is the best thing to ever happen to Nigeria after Amala and ewudu. What does that tell you?

It's as if killings and massacres by the herdsmen have become so normalized that it's acceptable for them to kill as many as they want at will, without any sort of punishment. . It becomes even more intriguing when you notice the deafening silence from the general public.

And I ask again; how many fulani herdsmen killers have been arrested, charged and jailed since these massacres started under this regime?? Just mention one singular case! They kill and get away with it for fun. The DSS will go to Kenya to arrest people they don't like but they can not arrest people that are killing for fun everyday in Nigeria? How can a group that has killed thousands and taken responsibility for such openly, walk around unmolested? Once again; how many Fulani herdsmen has Buhari and his goons arrested and jailed for their enermous crimes against humanity in this godforsaken country??
Answer that question and you have the answers to the sponsors of these. Evil killers!
