Activities of the ESN led to a reduction in the herdsmen madness in Abia state. Not the Anti Open grazing nonsense law. 1 Like |

I hardly see herdsmen in the east these days. I don't know if its because of the antigrazing law or they just respected themselves due to the activities of ESN. All I know is that herdsmen problem is almost fazed out in the east. |

Most of these cows are owned by the politicians or traditional rulers and chiefs and so called the rich, those herders are just managing the cattle. These people are just playing the masses because they will not allow the law to be enforced due to their investment |

i disagree. the major setback is states setting up monitoring/enforcement agencies states have their own traffic law enforcement agencies, are they effective or not? the governors should stop playing politics with the issue. Fiscus105: |

seyigiggle: And u think traffic law enforcing agencies (officers) effective? Capital No, infact not effect up to 50%. (Abba kyari a case study) No single entity that is working in Nigeria system. Go to ordinary Benin republic and see things, u can also compare it with ur own system. 1 Like |

Its only in Igbo land it can be enforced, others keep licking the ass of these northerners for small money and position. If they don't enforce it now, tomorrow these southern places will become like the north. Let these yeye politicians deceive themselves ote author=GardenOfGod post=111532269]HERDERS ADAMANT, SOUTHERN GOVS FAIL TO ENFORCE ANTI-OPEN GRAZING LAW >>Despite the resolve of the governors of the 17 states in southern Nigeria to ban open grazing of cattle and other animals in their states due to escalating attacks on farmers and other residents by suspected herdsmen, the states appear to have developed cold feet in implementing laws passed and assented to for that purpose. No wonder he never won any election but soon his tenure will end and am sure he won't win the next election even if he tries to rig it. IMO State is difficult to rig except they use Court after the elections. He is junior Buhari of Igbo land, Owelle's twin brother in crime. uote author=Tumbulum post=111536467]because hope is a sellout and a fool.[/quote] |

Northerners even these bandits and book haram are cowards believe me, they only operate in a free hand where the top is weak but if they reach a place or region where the people are really ready for them, you see them maintaining their own lane. quote author=potent5 post=111533655]Activities of the ESN led to a reduction in the herdsmen madness in Abia state.
