I hate to think the worst of things but knowing the type of country Nigeria is we can't take anything for granted. The amount of insecurity that is dominating the news is truly alarming, especially in the North. Trains are being bombed, Airports are being invaded and these so called "Bandits" cannot be stopped. If the reports are to be believed even Abuja, the nation's capital is not even safe which leads me to my question.

Is the lack of security that we're seeing in this country due to the fact that Buhari and our security leadership are just incompetent? Or is there a deliberate and sinister plot unfolding to create a pretext for military takeover? With the 2023 elections fast approaching, the dominant conversation in both major parties is around which region will take over power. Some political insiders have highlighted plots by Northern cabals to ensure power stays in the North rather than having it rotate back to the South.

A military takeover would almost ensure that this is a reality, using the guise of some sort of National Security concern. Otherwise why aren't they able to stop these terrorists that are literally about to destroy this nation? What do you all think?

Don't doubt your hunches; most times they turn true. But God pass anyone with such thoughts, wasting fellow patriots just to hold on to power. Nay!!!

Well the northerners knows that there tenure in power is expiring so any means by which they can still retain power through the back door, by the guise of military take over (coup )cannot be ruled out. Fear North!
