How Much Has Lagos Made From Lekki Toll Gate? How Much Is Left To Pay? by VaselineCrew: 7:44am On Apr 01, 2022
If they were making about 20 million naira per day, then in a month that would be about 600 million naira. In a year, that would be about 7.2 BILLION NAIRA.

How much was then used to construct the road?

Isn’t a toll road supposed to be used to avoid traffic? Why would people be forced to pay for a road and then experience one of the most horrendous traffic jams in Lagos?

Are Lekki people the only ones in Lagos that should be paying toll?

What about Ikeja? Surulere? Yaba? Ikorodu?...

In America, they toll highways that provide a shorter distance to your destination. So in Houston Texas for instance, the George Bush highway may be rolled, but they have alternative highways.

Please let that sink in...

ALTERNATIVE HIGHWAYSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

So you still have free highways with 3 or more lanes should you decide to bypass a toll.

The time is 7:41a.m now and the traffic on the road is already building, yet you want these same people to suffer tolling?

These politicians are so corrupt in Nigeria, and when you speak up or protest, you are shouted down or chased away by thugs and zombie police officers.

Look at the traffic already, and it only gets worse, much much worse.

The most annoying part of this whole thing is having Lagosians that live on the mainland supporting the toll, because it doesn’t affect them, very selfish people.

Ask them to support rolling on their street and they will start giving excuses.
