DESPERATION TAKEN TOO FAR: Dr. Glory Edet moves to entice delegates

A desperate bid by one of the aspirants for Ikono/ Ini Federal Constituency seat, Dr. Glory Edet, has taken a new dimension as the aspirant has gone out of her way to entice delegates in order for them to vote for her in the forthcoming primaries of the party.

Our source gathered that Dr. Glory Edet, who is the immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture in Akwa Ibom State had this plan hacked by his brother, Dr. Akan Akankpo and the PDP Chapter Chairman in Ini, Mr. Emmanuel Uma.

It is gathered that several meetings have been held with delegates in batches in Glory Edet's residence in Uyo, where the delegates have been asked to enter into an agreement with Dr. Glory Edet with a promise that they would be paid 1million Naira each if they vote Dr. Glory Edet at the primaries.

We also gathered in good authority that the delegates were issued forms to fill in their details including account details through which the said N1million would be disbursed.

Dr. Glory Edet has not only stopped there, she went further to intimidate the delegates, warning them not to go against her directive as she would not take it kindly with them.

Some of the delegates who attended the meeting and do not want their names mentioned stated that they have never seen someone so desperate for power as Glory Edet who wants to win election by all means.
