PDP Stakeholders across the 18 Local Government areas of Ondo State on Sunday, 3rd April, 2022 converged on the residence of Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN in Akure to celebrate a member representing the State on the PDP National Working Committee, Mr. Debo Ologunagba.

Debo Ologunagba was elected the National Publicity Secretary of PDP during the Party's National Convention in October last year.

Welcoming members, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, thanked everyone present for making out time to attend the event. He saluted the dedication, selflessness and resilience of members across the State in building the Party, and their daily support and sacrifices in keeping the Party united.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Bode Ayorinde posited that, "Peace without justice can only be likened to the peace of the graveyard". He said members must not see the Party as supreme only when it is convenient. That the attitude of pursuing individual interests at the expense of the collective good of the Party thereby destroying the fabrics of our unity must be discouraged.

The leaders took turn to emphasize on the need for the party to be united so as to bring about resounding victories at all levels for the party in the 2023 general elections.

Dr. Eddy Olafeso thanked the National Publicity Secretary for the great job he is doing which he described as the toughest in the NWC. He said though he indicated interest in the position, he has since moved on as a true democrat. He then admonished the NPS to do more as the mouthpiece of the main opposition party.

The State Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams, Amb. Omolade Oluwateru, former Deputy Governor, Sen. Boluwaji Kunlere, Sen. Yele Omogunwa, Engr. Clement Faboyede, Engr. Ademulegun Raphael, Akogun Tokunbo Modupe, Hon. Sadiq Obanoyen and other leaders extolled Hon. Debo Ologunagba describing him as a forthright man with immense capacity.

Amb (Col.) Roland Omowa, Dr. Oyinloye, leaders from Ondo East and west, members of Ondo State working committee, former commissioner for Information, Hon. Akinmade, some Ondo State House of Assembly and Rep. Aspirants, Hon. Tony Ala and other leaders were present.

Hon. Ologunagba thanked all the leaders present and promised that through the support of all PDP members, the party will triumph.

If There's Anything To Be Liken To Unity In This Country I Think It Should Be When Apc And Pdp Will Come Together And Start Thinking Of How To Promote The Country's Interest Rather Than How To Dominate The Other, If There'll Ever Be Anything As Justice In This Country I'll Say It's When Equity Is Render To All, Given Space To The Poor And Struggling But Experienced People Of The Society To Have A Say In Parties And Leadership But All Are Sold To Riches Even Counsellorship Ticket Self Will Discourage 50% of The People Who Can Know How An Average Man Is Surviving.
