The power plant is for the company so what is all the hype? Its not a new thing, many companies are helping themselves and yet the government will tax them for providing absolutely nothing in terms of infrastructure.

Seun:

540MW extra is nothing.
i disagree moreover it is just a conservative estimate as our govt has far more resources than lafarge. the govt has spent over $12billion and yet has nothing to show for it while a company spent 23 billion and has 90mw.

This plant is now supplying electricity to very remote areas beyond it factory environs with average 10-15hrs daily power supply

Infact because of the availability of power, people are massively moving into these remote areas thereby causing development.
