HM Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Governor of Bauchi State, officially opened the N-Skills Training on Life, Vocational, and Entrepreneurship Skills yesterday. The N-Skills program follows the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) for the creation, classification, and recognition of skills, knowledge, and competences gained by individuals, regardless of where or how they were learned.

The Ministry is collaborating with carefully chosen consulting firms to give N-Skills training to 6,475 unemployed youngsters across the Federation. N-Skills will aid in closing the gap between standard and market-relevant skills requirements.

HM Sadiya Farouq paid a visit to two of Bauchi State’s 13 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) project centers, which are located in federal and state government secondary schools.

The centers will help to develop the human capital needed for a knowledge-driven economy by improving digital literacy, functional skills development, school infrastructure, and teacher retraining.

After that, HM Sadiya Farouq went to Bauchi State’s Computer-Aided Learning Center.

The goal of this initiative is to improve digital learning among children with special needs. The project entails the provision of computer hardware and software, as well as furniture and other accessories enable visually and hearing-impaired students to engage in functional e-learning.
