You can try platforms like Twitter. If Nairaland is your platform, keep posting on all threads (attach your ads to your signature) or pay for ads like those ones in the banner above. |

Itohan22:Hey @Itohan22, First off, are you still a student or you're done with school and just using this as a side-hustle? Your degree of motivation is key here. I want you to go and learn about WhatsApp marketing and you will start seeing results alongside your use of Twitter marketing. Take a short physical or online training in digital marketing in Lagos where you are. I'm aware of a few trainings which do not exceed 20k. Learn how to use WhatsApp Business to reach out to clients. 2. Second, the first advice given to you by the chap above is brilliant so I don't need to repeat it here again. 3. Third, and this is very important. Do NOT post your product ads randomly on NL threads otherwise the mods would "delete them" if they find out. I've been on NL since 2005 so I know this fact. NL also wants to make money through paid ads. 4. The main places you can place your contact and product details for FREE is in your NL profile and NL signature file. I want you to change the colours of the words in your sig file to make them bolder or more visible to the eyes. Use red, yellow and black colour combos, and have your Weblink in the sig file. As you post your opinions about topics on the NL front page and help people with advice or solutions as you post, they will get to see your signature details. You can then also place a paid ad via Nairaland Ads after paying N20,000 for ad visibility to see how the response will be... If it's not significant or profitable then ditch it. Last but not least, do NOT sell on credit to some family and friends (as many people like you who sell imported or locally made stuff have learned the hard way) because they tend to owe and eventually you will not be able to recover your money or goods sold. Always collect your money in full. Ciao. ![]() |
