I intended buying a low budget laptop with this specs : Intel Core i7 (3rd Gen) 3540M
3 GHz
Intel HD Graphics 4000

my question is can this laptop run some low end games and if yes please what type do you recommend from adventure, sport and combat fighting genre






please note that I'm a light gamer who loves to play video games with my spare time

you should really run away from any processor with U at the back. Though the specs are mad, but that ultra power saving (U) killed it. The laptop will have a long battery life, even reaching 9hrs, but it will sacrifice processing power for that. It won't be able to handle high graphic games because it will priotize saving battery power above using lots of processing power to render what your game requires.

Technically, you're wrong. Intel Core i3-5005U (5th gen) is a good processor, with a decent turbo speed. Paired with a dedicated VRAM, it should handle heavy games on high settings, at medium to high FPS. The problem lies in the integrated Intel HD 5500 graphics processor, whereby the video memory needed to power heavy games is not dedicated, but shared.

With 8gb RAM however, it should handle some heavy games at playable FPS, if you tweak the settings, and set it on low. I know for a fact that the processor can handle stock GTA 5 at playable FPS.

The battery saving feature is overrated. On heavy use, it's 3 hours tops.

Assassins creed remastered.

Have bought this game up to 4 times now. I just love the gameplay Especially the easy but fun and special combat which is missing in the latest Ac games.

I am currently playing Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Gamecube version and that too on my Android smartphone So, Basically, I was getting bored in the lockdown and I came to know that you can play GameCube games using gamecube emulator on your Android Smartphone. I simply installed the gamecube emulator and added the rom of POP The Sands of time and started playing it. My father bought me a Gamecube when I was little and I used to play a lot of games on it. So, it is more like a nostalgic experience.

Have you forgotten you can edit all those assisted settings for both human and AI? Also there are game play mods you can use that changes the game from default to something else that allows for better gameplay. This works for PC though, not consoles.
