Whats wrong with Airtel Services these days?

I Paid 1000 naira for 100MB/30 days validity data plan for my Nokia E5 as usual, but this time, they gave me 200MB instead for the same price, but i can't even open the home page.

Connecting a call is a war. Not quite long i left MTN for Airtel since they promised an affordable and congestion-free services (I enjoyed all that for just 2 months)

What next

The problem is that it isn't browsing, very poor service.

Instead improving on the strength of their bandwidth they went ahead dashing out what people will end up not being able to use.

This is not new with Airtel.  I got the impression they've just "upgraded" their mobile internet settings. Check and make sure you have the updated settings.

They have been having problems e.g not being able to get through to customer services, but customers are the last to know.  Also, take into consideration your location and the current weather. I found that during the rainy season reception is extremely poor.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you. From experience, apart from the money they've robbed from me and the poor service, I'm not holding any hope for improvement. All I hear is " e go betta" but as the end user, I still haven't seen it.

Airtel Rocking on Mobile, PC And EPad. FOC

Its very bad of Airtel this days. You cant believe they jus robbed me of my 2.5gb leaving 200mb on my fone today. I dont even know wat to do now. Any help will be appreciated.

Such a unthriving experience coming up these days from. From awkward billing to false data bundle. What else is there to await from this conniving thieves in the guise of a network service provider?

Airtel are currently upgrading their servers since last few days ago, i am also an airtel subscriber, and i can say their services is not good during the day.

I paid 3k for their Blackberry BIS but cannot do nothing but ping, and pinging is the last thing i had in mind to do!

I moved my contacts from MTN to Airtel not quite long, so i can't imagine relocating to Glo for just same reason.

But for the cheaper call rate, i will press on hoping that it gets better sooner.

Sadly people, this is how Airtel is.  Their mobile internet only seems to work best in the early hours of the morning when most people are asleep!  During peak times, especially in the evening, if you get a good consistent connection be thankful because it's rare.

For anyone who has a Twitter account, they're there as Airtel NG.  Maybe you should go there, let them know your problem and see what happens.

airtel is a big fraud till 2mrw. That doubling stuff is just to get customers. How can they have just one 3.75g server in v.i and expect all lagos to benefit? I suscribed for 5k data last month, yes they gave me 4.5gig but i was fraustrated and later abandon it.hadly did i use 200mb, it was even on gprs,not close to edge on modem. They will continue to lose customers for ever. They even told me to be carrying my laptop up and down lagos, may be it will improve on 3g. What a funny people!

Is it not the same airtel I use? Av bn enjoying it for some time now. I think your location coupled with time of day might be responsible. Some of us enjoy it ooo. And what more, I get way more than the meager 200mb, 1gig for 1400. Hmmm.
