NO ONE SHOULD INTERFERE WITH PROTESTS, Malawian Soldiers

Malawian Soldiers have directed that no one should interfere with protests that are currently going on in that country.
The soldiers have warned the Police that whoever will be found brutalizing citizens for registering their displeasure will be dealt with sternly.

Currently Malawian citizens led by activist, Oliver Nakoma have taken to the streets in Blantyre, over the rising cost of living and what they call false campaign promises of the Tonse Alliance which calls itself New Dawn government.

Attempts to stop the protests by high police presence in anti-riot gear and in civilian outfits failed as soldiers accompanied the protesters to Blantyre district council, where they are expected to deliver a petition.

The Army has warned that it will not entertain anyone to brutalize the people who are only exercising their rights.

undecided Our useless soldiers would use unarmed soldiers as target practice. The fools in uniform haven’t realized that they are used by the wicked elites to oppress the masses. These fools in uniform don’t know that one day they would trun bloody civilians like us when they retire and would flood the streets of Abuja for paltry pensions whiles those that used them and wasted their youthful years are living big on the loot of public office.

If you are soldier sent to suppress peaceful protests if una like no get sense

In Nigeria there would have been either of 2 actions:
A massive police refusal of the protest and massive arrests of the few that still dare to carry it out.
Or a massive counter protest accusing the other group of being sponsored to topple the Buhari goverment and praising the goverment success even while other countries are worse off.
One of the enduring legacies of this government will be the stifling of dissent and I fear having been so successful, succeeding governments would tie the same line
