Young Innocent Boy Reunited With Mum After Spending 3 Years In Boko Haram Captivity (Photos)

Following a news report by YERWA EXPRESS NEWS, a young boy who was rescued by Nigerian military forces last week have been reunited with his family after three years in Boko Haram captivity.

He was allegedly kidnapped in 2018 when he and his father were ambushed by Boko Haram terrorists while on a road trip. YERWA EXPRESS NEWS was unable to determine the exact location of the incident.

However, the boy remembered that his father was shot and killed on the spot, and that he and the car his father was driving were both taken to the Sambisa Forest.

Troops and members of the Civilian JTF recently rescued him, along with other women, as part of their continuing Operation Desert Sanity, in which the forest is being cleared.

When rescued, however, the boy had no recollection of his or his father's identities.

Following YERWA EXPRESS NEWS' SOS with his photos, his family reached out to Al-Ansar Radio's employees, and they were eventually reunited this morning in Bama Local Government, according to our sources.
