mrvitalis:He is not treating symptoms but giving relief to the displaced people. You should remember that boko haram is terrorising that region and makes farming unsafe. You need to checkout the infrastructure he built despite the security challenges. He is also rehabilitating destroyed schools and hospitals. I think he is not doing badly. IF THERE IS PEACE IN THE LAND PEOPLE WILL SEE THAT ZULUM IS THE KIND OF PERSON WE NEED NOW |

mrvitalis: Thank you Comrade. In this you comment you just summed up the solution to our problem in Nigeria. How this is so unpopular is what I will never understand. Our people want handout and instant giveaways. They are not interested in lasting solutions. The politicians know this hence the occasional virtue signaling for the cameras. Agriculture is the mainstay of the economy of several countries in Asia. Nigeria have no business importing any agricultural produce. This is the sector where subsidy is needed. If you know how much The US and Europe spends on Subsidizing agriculture you will freeze in disbelief. We have to go back to the Farms. We need security and this madness of Marauding Herdsmen destroying people's Farm need to be addressed urgently. 2 Likes |

mrvitalis:I get your point. Sometimes you start treating the symptoms while fighting the root cause.. We have vocational training centres in Borno State and they have people undergoing training them. I guess this one was done for immediate survival need even though it's not sustainable |

This is not a long lasting solution. 275000000/90000 = 3055.55 per household. How many days will the money last for each family. Just one day I think. 99.99% of Nigerian politicians are myopic. Will the 3k stop Boko Haram from recruiting the children of the displaced families? Wasting tax payers' money on project that is not sustainable. We need to restructure this country. Damn! 1 Like |

mrvitalis: These are victims of guerilla warfare who are displaced. They are not at their comfort zone yet, so your agricultural stuff would not work! They need to be fed and clothed INSTANTLY! No story. In situations like this, you keep them alive till they can be relocated back to their land which is what a larger percentage of them want. |
