Good day everyone. Someone I know just missed out on a state government appointment because she has a degree in Information Technology instead of Computer science and was told that, that was the only issue regarding the appointment. That is, she aced the test and interview.
She has other professional certifications and hands-on experience that the said position requires.
The position: a surveillance station operator.

There's really no much difference between computer science and IT, they're technically the same thing. A lot of computer science students upgrade themselves by going into IT.

So rejecting the girl means they clearly didn't want her to have the job, or one top government official replaced her name with his own candidate.
