The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige on Tuesday made public his intention to contest the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ngige made the declaration at Alor, his country home town in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra in an occasion organised by his political associates.

He said, after due consultations that he decided to vie for the position because “he has all it takes to steer the ship of Nigeria to safe harbour.”

Reviewing his activities as the minister under President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government, Ngige said he handled about 1,383 labour-related disputes.

The minister equally scored the Buhari Government high in some aspects, but said that the administration performed below average in some areas.

“I can give high mark to this government in some areas, and score the government low in some aspects due to some prevailing factors,” he said.

He said given his years of experience that if elected as the next president, he knew what to do to tackle the challenges in the country now.

Mr Chukwuma Agufugo, factional state secretary of APC in Anambra who spoke, said the event was a follow up to a December 2021 event where Ngige was urged to contest the 2023 presidential election.

“We came today to get answers to our appeal that Dr Ngige go into the next presidential election because you are experienced and qualified to hold the position,” he said.

Meanwhile, the House of Reps has denounced the country’s escalating insecurity, particularly recent deaths in Benue, Taraba, and Plateau states.

The parliamentarians sought the expulsion of the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.) and the Minister of Defense, Major General Bashir Magashi, during a plenary session on Wednesday, April 14...

embarassed Drugnibu- "Tweeting on WhatApp",
"PVC can expire" and "NIPP to disconnect mobile phones"

That was how the dullard started with "President Michel of West Germany" before his handlers stopped him from doing live interviews and limiting his public appearances.

#Nigerians choose wisely in 2023.

Imagine a fellow who has kept our educational system in moribund under his watch as the Minister of Labour, wants to be our President.

God forbid that he wins and sworn in, our comatose educational sector will be murdered and consequently given a final burial. Because by then, ASUU can strike forever, and the dwarf will not give a damn.

However, in all, Chris Ngige is a clown and should not be taken serious.

I love the way igbos are joining the presidential race because if they don't some persons will say they are not serious to lead the country.
As of today we have more aspirants from the south east than the south west. We watch!

Ngige and Geoffrey Onyema are two of the useless Ministers we have.
Ngige should have been put in Ministry of Water resources while Geoffrey Onyema would be perfect as SGF.
As for that fool called Ogbonnaya Onu, he's not fit to lead anything. He and that failure called Adamu Adamu are not fit to lead.
