BABA KEKERE OF OYO KINGDOM. Baba Kekere has served 3 Alaafins. His duty is to run errands for the king. He served : 1. Oba Adeniran Adeyemi II, Lamidis father between 1945 & 1956. 2. Oba Gbadegesin Ladigbolu II between 1956 & 1968 and 3. Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, between 1970&2022 He is called Baba Kekere possibly because of his height. His age is unknown because his birth was not recorded but it is assumed that he should be over 100 years now. Kudos to the man but 135 yrs of age is a lie.. Let’s mk an assumption he start serving the Alaafin wen e was age 0,from age 0 at 1945 till now is 77… 135 - 77=58 … Except you guys wants to tell us the man was 58 when he became an errand boy to the Alaafin in 1945?I v seen people who has witness the reign of three Obas but not yet close to 100 years of age |
