A popular “Nigerian billionaire drug baron” has been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The suspect is Chief Afam Mallinson Emmanuel Ukatu, Chairman of Mallinson Group. According to the announcement made by NDLEA Media Director, Femi Babafemi, on Monday, the suspect is behind the N3 billion Tramadol deal involving Abba Kyari. Kyari, a suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, led Intelligence Response Team (IRT). Ukatu was arrested at the MM2 terminal of the Lagos airport in Ikeja after months of surveillance and evading arrest.
