Lionel Messi has reportedly done enough for Paris Saint-Germain to want to keep hold of him next season - but Neymar could be off.

Messi, 34, joined PSG on a free transfer from Barcelona last summer.

After a slow start in France, the Argentina forward has 13 assists for the Parisiens this season.

Messi also produced a moment of magic to help PSG reclaim the Ligue 1 title. He took just one touch before guiding the ball into the top corner in the 1-1 draw with Lens. And PSG want to reward the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner with at least another season with them. The report also states that Messi has no qualms about staying in the French capital for one more campaign. PSG hope to rebuild their squad around the veteran as they plan to launch an all-out assault to win the Champions League.

Along with Messi, PSG are keen on keeping hold of Mbappe and have made the France star a number of promises to cajole him into staying put.

But the Ligue 1 champions are willing to offload Neymar in order to keep hold of Messi and Mbappe, the report adds.

And he may be accompanied by under-fire boss Maurico Pochettino and sporting director Leonardo out of the PSG door. It is claimed that the duo could be given the boot by PSG who want 'the best' to lead the club into a new era.

And reports suggest ex-Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is favourite to replace Poch, despite Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte's alleged interest in the role.

I would love Messi to play on more season in PSG. So far, given the way he came to PSG and all the emotional controversy involved in the move, he is still showing class. Even with the negative support for PSG fans. Messi is holding up fine.

Truth is both Ronaldo and Messi aint having business as usual at the moment, so lets cut them some slack and wait to see how much things change next season.
