I am looking for recommendations for a Document Archival Solution for a school.
Basic requirements are as follows;
1. Store students' results and transcripts (basically PDF/Excel files)
2. Assign unique identifiers to the files
3. Intelligent retrieval of stored documents
4. Security/controlled access
5. Inability to edit stored files
6. On-prem setup desired (locally hosted on a server within the organization)
7. One-off cost desired (no yearly license renewal)

I get the specs but I don't get exactly what you mean, like the system design for it or how should you approach building the system
