Hi, nairalanders

I am a newbie here. I just need your advice. I intend coming to Nigeria after a few years away. Of course l am aware of the insecurity in the country and l am worried about my personal safety.

I read about an American returnee who was arrested for bringing a gun (he is legally allowed to carry in the US)

My question is, what are you legally allowed to have in your possession to protect yourself self from robbers and other criminals who may want to do harm to you?

Are pepper spray, stun guns, tasers legal?

Mods, please help me push this to the front page it's kinda urgent

I think only pepper spray is allowed, it’s only the police and other military personnel that are allowed to use stun guns and taser, unlike European countries
