The campaign camp of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, speaker, Delta State House of assembly is currently in a pensive as their boss has not been able to flash his clearance certificate by the PDP screening committee headed by the Bayelsa governor, Duoye.
Documents leaked online shows the inconsistencies stem from multiple names used by the speaker at different times.
The speaker had also at different times modified his dates of birth. His boisterous supporters have been mollified.
The speaker is touted to have the annointed backing of the governor, Ifeanyi okowa, as the most suitable to cover up his track record of financial recklessness including the 150 billion naira loan recently obtained and hastily approved by his rubber stamp assembly led by the embattled speaker.
This piece of news led to massive jubilation by the David Edevbie camp, another front runner of the PDP, but not currently being favoured by the incumbent. Many Deltans are hoping Edevbie gets the party ticket as he seems to have the formula of a prosperous Delta.
