*Eid-al-Fitri:Babayemi Congratulates Muslims*

Osun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate for the forthcoming July 16 governorship election, Omooba Dotun Babayemi,has rejoiced with Muslims for successfully completing this year's ramadan

Also,Babayemi felicitated with them for the celebration of this year's Eid al-fitri to mark the conclusion of the month long fasting exercise embarked upon by the Muslim faithful.

In a statement issued by his Media Office,he urged that the lessons learnt during the period must be brought to bear at individual and the national existence of the nation so as to ensure realization of the needed all-round developments.

"It gladdens one's heart at this point in time, particularly when at almost the same time, lent and ramadan exercises coincided.For us in Osun, it's a pointer to divine guidance and grace on the task of electing a new helmsman for our dear state. We must not relent in our prayers for the best at the polls slated for July 16, this year" he said

Babayemi assured that the PDP would sail through at the coming election, appealing to people of the state to continue to support the party physically and spiritually.

"Our party shall triumph at the coming election.Our support base is increasing on a daily basis.One will just further implore our Christian and Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to pray for the state and its people" he said.

While calling for religious harmony among adherents of Islam and Christianity, Babayemi lamented that crisis in any form, would always retard developmental quest of individuals, corporate bodies and government.
