Many Christians of today are very judgemental of others in their midst, and by their criticism put a stumbling block on the path of the weak brethren working hard to repent fully and be reconciled to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law,and judgeth the law;but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?( James 4:11_12).
Judgmental people often criticise blindly,forgetting they have their own faults and weaknesses too.They fail to realise that only Christ Jesus has the Ultimate Power as a Judge, and once you accept Him into your life,He purges you by His Sacred Blood, and puts you right with God the Father.
So no human has the right to judge another based on their past mistakes.We are all sinners undeserving of God's Mercy,but because He so loved us,He sent His Son Christ Jesus to offer His Sacred Blood for our salvation and reconciliation.
Judgemental attitude puts a person in danger of God's judgment, because by judging another who is trying to free himself from his sins,you discourage and weaken him emotionally and spiritually.
This can make him backslide.
God hates Judgemental attitude and specifically warned against that in the scriptures. Because a Judgemental Christian is blindly heading for Hell.
