1. Yes, Oyo is more populated than Abia State. 2. No, Oyo isn't 3 times more populated. It's not by area of land settled. It is by population density. Abia has more storey building residential flats than Oyo State. There are many 4 and 5 storey buildings in Aba alone than the whole of Oyo State. So we can then conclude that there are more people living in a square meter of land in Abia State than Oyo State and hence the lesser area of settled land. Hence the claim of 3 times populated is false. Remember no census in Nigeria is credible and Abia State people, to their disadvantage, boycotted the 2006 census. |
