If you are here thinking going to college or university and coming out with just good grades will automatically make you successful,

then you might be disappointed.

And I wouldn't want you to be disappointed.

So that's why you should pay more attention to what I'll be writing here

Millions of college graduates rot in poverty and unemployment years after graduating.

On the other hand, people who never went to college and those who never finished their college education like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and David Geffen rot in wealth and millions.

What did they do differently?

They were busy making money while the rest of us were busy studying.

At the same time, the cost of college has risen ridiculously high.

This has risen the question "is college worth it and do the benefits of going to college really outweigh the costs?"


Don't get me wrong College is very good but it's not a necessity for the dream life you want to live

Moral of all this is that college degree is no longer a necessity for employment

the country or the society needs something more than your college degree

We need your skills/ability to do things we need people who can think on their feet.

not people who go to school coming out with little or no idea

on how to practicalize what they have learnt or what they studied

So that's why you need skills


Nowadays, companies and industries don't just ask for your certificate or CVS


They ask you what you can do?

What can you offer to this company

So if you were asked this what would you show them.

Your college A4 paper called certificate? Lol
Funny right?

There are many graduates out there applying for the same job you are applying for.

Some with even better grades or cgpa than you.

So why would they choose you over others?

That's where the power of skills and experience comes into play.

What can you offer them that would bring them a tremendous change in their company.


Sad enough some graduates aren't even good with some little skills like Excel, word and PowerPoint management.

And you want to get a job?!!

We all need to fulfill our needs and meet our cravings and expenses.

So the question is how do we get this money?

*How to make money in this present century*



*The answer to the above questions is this*

1) You need to render a service
2) You need to sell a product
3) you need to identify a problem and then create solution

When you can provide solutions to people's problem....

You will see that money will be the one chasing you

*We are in a skill economy

You need a skill to make money

I've always said there are three things that make you money..

These are things that contribute most to your wealth

1. Your mindset

2. Your skillset

3. Your toolset

When you think of money, think of a value you can give in exchange for money.....

Money is simply an exchange of *value*.....

All money is made from selling...

A teacher sells his knowledge to get paid...

A mechanic sells his skills and expertise to in exchange for money

A trader sells his products in exchange for money....

So, you must sell something to get money, let that sink...�

Now this brings me down to Freelancing .

What is freelancing?

Freelancing is simply working for several foreign organizations, clients etc instead of one and get paid in dollars.

A freelancer is someone who does work ( this could be jobs/ projects) for multiple
organizations instead of working with only one)

But why would someone want to work with several organizations instead of one?

The main reason for most Freelancers is the ability to set their price and work at their own hours

A phone or laptop

This is for specific reasons and in order to understand it let's look at what high-income skills are…


A High-Income Skill is simply a digital skill that you can get paid lots of money for and is
in high demand.


The emphasis of this is the "lots of money" and "High Demand"

This is what will make or break you as a freelancer.

They are lots and lots of them but this list will do

To get clients on a freelance platform all you have to do is apply for a job posted and if you get a response, you proceed to work with the employee.

But to these jobs (gigs) you need your profile to be well aligned


And your job proposals are well written....


The amazing part about Freelancing is that You don't need a certificate to become a well paid Freelancer
