Kwara State Governor, A Pace-setter -towoju by KwaraToday: 5:25pm On May 03, 2022
The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has described the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a pace-setting one.

Towoju said this against the backdrop of the forthcoming third anniversary of the present administration in the state later this month.

While reeling out the achievements of the governor, he noted that for the first time in the history of Kwara state, the state executive council has consistently been 35 per cent affirmative action compliant.

According to him, this has earned both the governor and Kwara state, national and international recognitions as a firm believer in gender equality.

Towoju, who said that working with the governor is a "dream come true," submitted that Governor AbdulRazaq is a true Kwaran who "puts Kwara first in all he does."

"I am lucky to work with the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. The synergy is there. He is a son of the soil who does not want Kwara State to lack any good thing and he works day and night to achieve the Kwara dream."

" I particularly love what the governor is doing for our aged ones under the "Owo Arugbo programme"

There is also "Owo Ishowo" to help people's businesses. All these, are parts of efforts to alleviate poverty in our dear State and it is a thing of joy to witness a time as such," he added.

The Communications Commissioner said the Agencies his Ministry is overseeing are all working harmoniously to promote the state and he praised their General Managers for their proactiveness and love for the state.

Speaking on the state of the state-owned media houses, Towoju said that journalism has never had it this good in the state, as the governor is steadily restoring the lost glory of the three state-owned media houses; this he said is evident in the recent non-stop broadcasting of quality contents by both Kwara State Television Authority and Radio Kwara.

He added that the new radio station, Nootia FM in Okuta, Baruten local government, is also a testament to this fact and he also spoke about the improvements recorded in the Herald Newspapers.
