Few years ago, the only way youths who have felt marginalized by the Nigerian state since 1970s believed in spreading the Biafran gospel was by holding peaceful rallies, holding prayers for the actualization of Biafra and carrying placards and flags.

These prayer meetings and rallies became targets of the nigerian police and the military in what was tagged Operation PYTHON DANCE, these young men and women who were simply ventilating their grievances and begging the nigerian state for equity and justice were arrested, humiliated and killed (the videos and pictures are online)

Online haters of the Easterners, pooled from the muslim SW population and buhari supporters did not hesitate to use those gory pictures of dead and humiliated Biafrans to mock easterners online, effectively and cowardly kicking a man who is down already.

The Operation PYTHON DANCE have come and gone, but the humiliated youths who survived the military onslaught have now picked up arms and gone into bush camps for self-preservation. They now feel emboldened to face military in broad day light, the police even live in fear and have disappeared from the roads in the East.

Police stations which should be opened to the public appear barricaded and with many officers begging to be transfered out of the East, a region they hitherto paid huge sums to their superiors to get a transfer therein due to commercial nature of the region.

Now my friends, it's time to take stock. What has Python dance truly achieved?

Well, you can never understand the Igbo spirit. You guys are satisfied with being scavengers. Some prefer dying standing than the slavery most of you Nigerians endure and will continue to endure.
