*JUST IN: Tension As Hon. Dagogo Arrested By Wike Hospitalised

Member representing Degema-Bonny Federal Constituency of Rivers State, Hon. Farrah Dagogo has been hospitalised.

He was earlier arrested by the police on the order of Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on allegation that Hon. Dagogo attacked screening committee members screening National Assembly aspirants in Port Harcourt.

He was taken to the hospital by the Police in the early hours of Wednesday, his SA Media, Ibrahim Lawal said in a statement.

He was hospitalised after he raised complaints about stomach and chest complications.

"Hon. Doctor Farah Dagogo has been taken to the hospital by the Police. He complained of stomach and chest complications. He is receiving treatment now" the statement said.

Lawal also assured that he will be giving information as situations unfold.

This is one of the reason why State Police can not come into play.

I wouldn't know whether the allegation against the Federal lawmaker is true or false.

All I know is that this is one of the reasons why the Federal government is reluctant to create state police for all the states in Nigeria.

There is nofin brotherly anymore if anyone threatens the peace of a country or state.thats why all this politicians commit all sort of atrocities and walk freely.we need someone with balls to checkmate dem..a lawmaker was suspended and later resigned for watching porn in the chamber abroad..if its Nigeria and a lawmaker rapes a lady and yu arrest him people will say witchhunt cos no law and order and sentiment flying around.justice has failed.

I just don't want to criticize Wike because he bought my respect when he was the only person standing up to the excesses of Buhari when other governor's were hiding their mouth under the table to speak up like primary school kids but he is uncultured when talking

How do you go to Anambra State to campaign for delegates and you're insulting their son in their presence and you still expect them to vote for you?

He has fallen out with almost everybody in the party although he has been the most consistent and loyal party member

But if PDP gives their ticket to someone like Wike, then I'll have to vote for who ever APC presents

Just imagine if anything is to happen to Dagogo Farah. Wike will finally run from Rivers State because he will be hunted down like a dog in portharcourt.

They called severally for me to register

The person calling probably didn't know that I've done the initial registration and I told them that I've lost interest and I also demaded for a refund

That didn't happen, so I have to I had no option than to leave the money they already got from me
