This is not about sympathy for IPOB, this about false information. Did the UK designate IPOB a terrorist group? They did not. But Nairaland put on its front page that they did

Britain never said anywhere that they consider IPOB to be a terrorist organisation, they only said Nigeria does. Since then, online miscreants have jumped on this and turned it around to mean that Britain proscribed IPOB. They simply want to mislead people

So why would Nairaland help to mislead people by putting this false information on the front page, claiming that Nnamdi Kanu is going to lose his British citizenship?

Even in the report, the home office told the case workers that only people who use their membership of Biafran groups to incite violence should be rejected for asylum, and only if they fall outside the Refugee Convention

A simple UK immigration guideline was turned by online miscreants to a major security issue. We know that ever since the international community rejected the Nigerian governments designatation of IPOB as a terrorist group, the FG have been fighting to get them to change their minds. But they are not fooling anyone, propaganda is not working.
