Banks Deposits Rose By N1.1 Trillion, Says CBN The apex bank of Nigeria, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said that banks’ demand deposits has risen by 1.1 trillion naira in three months. Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) CBN revealed that banks’ demand deposits at the end of March was 16.89 trillion naira while in January it was 15.81 trillion naira amounting to 1.1 trillion naira rise. In the same vein, the CBN also disclosed that currency in circulation fell by N42.43bn between January and March.
