WHO TOLD YOU THAT SOUTHERN PART OF NIGERIA IS DISADVANTAGED? WHO TOLD YOU THAT NORTH WILL WIN SOUTH IN 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION?

The slogan - politics is a game of number has been misinterpreted to mean that any group with larger number of people will always win every election. No! Your large number could also vote against you if the need arises. Have we not seen politicians who lost in their polling units?

Northern politicians who brag with large number have forgotten that in politics change is permanent. In Nigeria, coming from a largely populated area does not guarantee winning. This has been proved in our Presidential elections over time.

1. The large population of the North is made up of many ethnic groups.

2. There is no guarantee that northerners must vote northern candidates in 2023.

1993 Presidential Election
MKO Abiola, a Southerner (SPD) won
Bashir Tofa , a Northerner (NRC)

2003 Presidential Election
Olusegun Obasanjo, a Southerner (PDP) won Mohammadu Buhari, a northerner (ANPP).

2011 Presidential Election
Goodluck Jonathan, a Southerner (PDP) won Mohammadu Buhari, (CPC) a Northerner.

Goodluck Jonathan, a Southerner lost to Muahammadu Buhari a Northerner in 2015 because PDP the then ruling party WORKED AGAINST THE MOOD OF THE NATION. They fielded a Southern Candidate instead of a Northern Candidate. Power was meant to shift to the north in 2015.
