Enough Of 13 Years Of Presidential Boko Haram Terrorism! by z07ion: 10:28pm On May 07, 2022
Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan confessed during his six-year tenure in office that there were Boko Haram elements in his cabinet but he failed to mention their names and neither facilitated any arrest nor prosecution till he left office in 2015!
In his words: “Some of them are in the executive arm of government, some of them in the parliamentary/legislative arm of government, while some of them are even in the judiciary. “Some are also in the armed forces, the police and other security agencies. The situation is even worse than the Civil War that we fought. During the civil war we knew and we could even predict where the enemy was coming from but the challenge we have today is more complicated. “Somebody said that the situation is so bad that even if one’s son is a member, one will not even know. That means that if the person will plant a bomb behind your house he won’t know!’
From October 2009 when Boko Haram terrorism debuted in Maiduguri, North East, Nigeria's democracy took a nose-dive into a kind of devastating criminalty with consistent/persistent blood-shedding and this Islamic Jihadist group in very short time became synonymous with banditry, kidnapping, murder, assassinations, arson, raping crimes which enveloped the entire geographic space of the nation like untamed wild fire!

BOKO HARAM IS THE CREATION OF NIGERIAN POLITICIANS WHO OPTED FOR THE MILITARY PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM!

The greed by politicians to amass illicit money for themselves through the Nigerian kind of presidential system increased from 1999 when the military eventually handed over power to the civilians.
Fiscal and monetary policy was defective to manipulate through all manner of dubious salaries, allowances, emoluments including pensions, gratuities – outside of the purview of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), the constitutional body which fixes salaries of all politicians and civil servants.

The National Assembly (NASS), is the worst culprit among the three tiers of government! They claim all manner of oversight functions which are not enacted in the constitution and apportion salaries, allowances for local and overseas journeys including pensions and gratuity even for a four-year term in office!
At the state level, State Assemblies legislators apportion all kinds of monetary gains to themselves and to their governors who after one or two terms in office become beneficiaries of mansions in Abuja and in their state capitals.

They collect lump sums of at least NGN300 million naira as gratuity are also bought SUVs and luxury cars which are replaceable every four years and are also entitled to domestic servants who the State Governments pay salaries and allowances.
In addition to all these they are also entitled to annual medical tourism with members of their families due to the absence of such facilities which they deliberately failed to provide in Nigeria!
***Allocation of Security Votes to Mr.President and the Governors!
THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA AND ALL STATE GOVERNORS COLLECT SECURITY VOTES WHICH ARE NOT STIPULATED ANYWHERE IN THE 1999 CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA AND DO NOT GIVE ACCOUNTS OF HOW THESE FUNDS WHICH ARE BETWEEN NGN 3BILLION – NGN6 BILLION NAIRA PER TERM!

And whereas the Armed Forces, Police and other security agents are saddled through the Constitution to maintain law and order throughout the Federation while Governors were virtually figurehead chief security officers of their various States!
Is it not curious that these illegal allocations are not stipulated in the defective military constitution of 1999 to governors who could not even order Commissioners of Police or the Military Commanders in their States to carry out any security assignment without the officers first consulting with Mr President before compliance?

The question is why are such huge funds allotted to Governors in the first place if not to embezzle at will while crimes and criminality continue to fester in there various States!

BOKO HARAM WAS ON A REVENGE MISSION TO GET IT'S POUND OF FLESH FOR THE KILLING OF ITS LEADER MOHAMMED YUSUF!

Boko Haram was a motley Islamic group of illiterate children who were abandoned by Bornu State Government to beg for alms between 1999-2007, under the watch of Senator Ali Modu Sherrif!
They were first harmless but when they are leader Muhammad was extra judiciously killed the mobile police force they became violent and have resorted 2 all manners of crimes and criminality from then till date
IF A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT HAD BEEN ADOPTED FROM 1999 TO 2022 NIGERIA WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE FIRST 20 BECOMING ECONOMICALLY VIABLE NATIONS OF THE WORLD TODAY

Together we can still make it happen if all of us join the campaign for referendum to draft a brand New Parliamentary Constitution that will produce a PRIME MINISTER in 2023.
