Ogun Governor, Dapo Abiodun has lamented the spate of cultism in the state, saying pupils are now involved in it.

Speaking at the thanksgiving service for the Synod and Investiture of Diocesan Distinguished Fellows and Royal Fellows at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Okun-Owa Ijebu, in Odogbolu Local Government Area of the State, Abiodun stated that children in primary schools are now involved in cultism.

Maybe he is just acknowledging the state of students' cultism in secondary and primary school. These things are getting out of hand and have been there for a long time. The orientation given to these kids at their early stage will mar their future in years to come. The government should see to a reorientation and security checks on these kids before things get out of hand. These are products of bad parenting, peer group, and a failed government.

Who doesn't know those states you mentioned are hotbeds of cultism but the guy is angry because you mentioned his state .
