Honestly either is good. Latest versions of both phones cost about the same amount. The major difference is in flexibility, samsung offers more flexibility and customization than apple, features that have been existing on samsung/android for years are just being introduced to iPhones. Personally I'm using a samsung s20+ and it kicks the iPhone 11 from the same year. Its a personal choice tho, alot of people using iPhone just do so because of the hype/prestige while the phone stresses them out daily, especially people that moved from android to ios. When it comes to security and updates both phones guarantee at least 4 years.

The Samsung s series beats iPhone. Only advantage iPhone has is it's personalized operating system unlike Samsung that shares the same operating systems with all other Android devices.
