Dapo Abiodun, the current governor of Nigeria’s Ogun state, has had a shaky start to his re-election campaign in recent weeks.
According to reports in the media, the governor of Ogun state may be disqualified from running on the APC platform in the 2023 general elections (APC). As a result of an alleged criminal record in the United States of America, this has happened.

While the government claims that the APC cannot reject him on this grounds, information about his previous criminal history has surfaced.

The Coalition of Ogun State Students and Youth has issued a warning to banks, political parties, media, and the general public to prevent Prince Dapo Abiodun from contesting the APC primaries on May 18, 2022.

The body also made arrest records and the mugshot of Prince Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, accessible.
