There's no honor in presidency again. Buhari has rubbish the standard of presidency

[b] Peter Obi in 2002 was dismissed as non starter. He didn't want to believe he would not win . He trudged on and won . When he was not declared the winner ,all of us said it was over for him given that PDP was in power. He went to court to fight. At a time when Chris Ngige was doing well , every body was praying for Ngige to triumph in court . Most bishops prevailed on Obi to drop his suit , he refused . You know what it means to disobey your spiritual father. The chairman of APGA then , chekwas okorie led his Exco to meet with Gov Ngige to support him. By that time , Peter Obi was alone. Every body hated him including me. He won at the court and was sworn in. We were criticizing him as slow governor. He was removed again. Attention shifted to Gov Etiaba. Of course victor Umeh played along with Etiaba family. Peter Obi again was alone. He won again and continued . Again he was swept aside in 2007 election. Every body thought it was impossible for him to win . Again he won.

Here again the same scenario is playing out now. He wasn't taken serious in the beginning. Every one concluded he was angling to be VP to Atiku . He kept every body in suspense.

When he picked up nomination form , the story was same . He continued engaging segments of the society. He wasn't taken serious. Infact it was concluded he had no resources to prosecute his campaign. He took commercial airline to visit states in the south. Still no body was convinced. Gov Wike came to Anambra to insult him and rule him out . His enemies clapped and rejoiced . He was expected to reply Gov Wike in PH, instead he heaped praises on him, thanking him for giving him the opportunity to meet with the delegates.

Now he has embarked on northern route , every body's eyes opened. So he is able to charter jet that took him to Bauchi, Maiduguri and Gombe in one day. Like this he will tour all the states . Tinubu, Wike, Osinbajo, Tambuwal etc are using state resources , but here is a trader using his personal income to prosecute his campaign. Is Peter Obi that rich ? We keep our fingers crossed and watch the unfolding events .


The momentum the Peter Obi movement is gathering everyday is an eye opener for doubting thomases.
