NofiuFade:
Under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Nigeria rebased it’s GDP for the first time in over a decade to become the largest economy in Africa, overtaking South Africa and Egypt in the process.
Proceeds from Nigeria’s non-oil exports rose to 2.97 billion by the end of 2013, up from 2.3 billion in 2010. GEJ and his team are far better than all those rubble candidates put together from APC to PDP, I pray he declared his interest openly to run for the post, just let him declare his interest first and see how many reasonable Nigerians will robustly vote for him!
Rebasing the GDP is the process of replacing an old base year with a more recent base year to keep up with the evolution in prices. Constant price estimates are then recalculated in terms of the prices of the new base year and provides a reference point to which future values of the GDP are then compared.
The last time we rebase was in 1990. The government only did rebase to reflect current reality after 24 years and you think that is economic development under Goodluck Jonathan....lol. The problem of this country is the Citizens.

MumuReno on the beat again...

Day in Day out, he keeps making his brainwashed swines of supporters look like fools.
He floored and knocked Obituary the Pandora thief and liar,
Broke down the bones of his supporters, floored them down with innuendos.
We remembered how he has been a god to children of hate, frustrations and perdition cos of their joint hatred for Baba.
Now they are on the receiving ends.
We warned y'all, but your hatred and bigotry blinded y'all.
Same thing the foolish FFK did to you guys, that you were all calling him the greatest man from the West!
All your empty brains will be used by these politicians collectively till una get sense and drop politics of bitterness.

Most of your comments are often irritating and trashy.
What brought Mr. Obi or his supporters into this Reno's ranting..?
Do you use this same energy to call out others or APC politicians from other region with obvious flaws.
Address Reno or the message at hand and don't drag others into your physco "We" nonsense.

I have observed that you have issues with anything Igbos/South Easterners and you hide under various pretenses.
your Southwestern agenda is open to the blind, so focus your energy there or your APC BMC contract.

The way you come alive and spill trash whenever political issues involving Igbos come up is evident.
You are quick to attribute or drag if not Igbos, it will be IPob into topics/matters that doesn't obviously concern them.

A lot nonsense goes on under this regime but you always avoid to comment or speak up on it and pretend not to know.

Your problems are beyond politics but character/moral flaws and no chameleon like pretenses can save you because tomorrow will pay you back brutally.

Patriotism is to one's country not to individuals, tribe, region, party, religion and definitely not to your stomach.

Change, that's if you are redeemable.

Truthisunique2:
why would he go through primaries he is bigger than that, the last PDP ticket he got it with right of first refusal

The greenlight have been giving more than enough times, APC owners are the ones literally adjusting their pattern and timetable to suit him
Well, Tinubu will never let that happen. If it does, then his chances of ever being a president of this country has been set back by 12 years at the very least.

ANOTHER SENSELESS TALK
Re: Reno Omokri Reacts To Punch Story That Jonathan Will Submit APC Forms Today by NofiuFade(m): 7:21am On May 14, 2022
Not just about rebasing the GDP this is more about reiterate the obvious fact on my position that the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan performed well during its term in office. There are no indices anywhere in Nigeria, or indeed in the world, by which the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari can be measured as performing better than GEJ administration

I never said Buhari performed better. BUHARI IS A DISASTER!!!!.
Performing better than a disaster doesn't make GEJ a success. Have you seen the Evil contract they signed to privatize our power sector? A leader that truly love Nigeria and wants to drive unemployment down cannot play with issues of power...
How do you sell Power distribution to companies that cannot metre customers in 8 years? How do you expect companies that cannot metre customers to distribute Electricity? Do you remember service charges of 750 back then? A company that does not distribute a single Electricity is rewarded with service charges.

Sorry to tell you maybe you are not in your right sense for faulting Goodluck Jonathan administration with the issue of power sector, is it the Nigeria Africa’s largest economy, that has one of the world’s worst power sector?
Is it the power sector that's producing an average of 5,000 megawatts of electricity for a population of about 200 million for decades??
Some 80 million people do not have access to the national grid and power shortages that normally cost the country $29 billion, according to the World Bank statistics!

To compare, South Africa, the continent’s second biggest economy, generates about 55,000 megawatts for a population of about 58 million.

Do you know how many successive governments that have tried but failed to reform Nigeria’s energy sector?

The main problems are decaying infrastructure, low investment, debts, and poor management. There are also “operational inefficiencies”, pls when you want to attribute failure to any administration in Nigeria live that nonsense and most useless entity called power sector out of it.

Then please stop blaming Buhari just blame successive Government for the failure of the Nigerian Economy...Because the power Sector is a major contributor to the economy.
