Nigerians have come for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over his loud silence on the gruesome murder of Deborah Samuel, a Christian female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Wamako, IDOMA VOICE reports.

Deborah, a 200 level Home-Economics student accused of blasphemy, had complained bitterly over the influx of religious broadcast messages shared to her department’s WhatsApp page, DOMA VOICE reports.

“Holy ghost fire, nothing would happen to me. Is it by force you guys keep sending these religious messages in our group? Our group wasn’t created for that, but rather as a notice for when there’s a test, assignment, examinations, etc. Not these nonsense religious posts,” Ms Samuels had said in a voice note on her department’s WhatsApp heard by IDOMA VOICE.

Nigerians, irrespective of religion have been condemning the dastardly act and called for the immediate arrest of the perpetrators.

However, President Buhari and his deputy, Yemi Osinbajo have refrained from condemning the incident.

Osinbajo, a pastor, is running for the seat of the president in the 2023 general elections.

However, his silence, according to Nigerians is no longer golden, considering the fact that his sister in faith has been gruesomely murdered.

There is no need draging the VP for being mute over Deborah's murder. Politically, its wrong for him to condemn the barbaric act when his Boss is yet to react on the incidence.

The act is comdemnable and babaric..No human being should be subject to that act.
This is a matter of state government
The President is yet to make any comment, so you expect the VP to say what ?
People are just hypocrate; when Igbos are busy killing eachother all in the name of IPOB and UGM, did anybody condemn the act? Peter Obi, Wike, Umahi, and other regional actors?

What should Osinbajo say or do? Is he the State Governor? Why are Nigerians always seeking ways to be mischievous?
Atiku just showed his true colors but "wise" Nigerians are applauding his "effort" saying, "atleast he tried" continue wallowing in extreme stupidity.

Instead of calling President Buhari, Atiku, Emirs, Imams, and Muslim elites to come out and speak against the killing of Deborah in Sokoto, you are all looking for Christian leaders and politicians to speak first.

The VP is vice president of federal republic of Nigeria, not representing a particular denomination.

What has Osibanjo got to do here?
Why do you personalise and politicise the condemnation?
Did you condemn the killings in the Southeast especially the gruesome and barbaric murder of the army couple?
Atiku deleting his post was out of fear of political backlash.
Stop being hypocritical my brother.
Let us call evil what it is irrespective of who committed it.

The Sokoto State Government and The Nigerian Police Force are already on it, the Sultan of Sokoto has condemned the unjust killing of that poor girl, please let’s not use this kind of sensitive issue to cause indictment

This is where Osinbanjo has failed and is failing!
And this is the reason he was appointed to be the pmb's running mate.

What happened is Babarically evil.
If He can't speak or condemn the evil for political sake, then for Pastorial and Conscience sake , he should always least condemn it.

All these so-called Christians in
top government positions have all
sold their consciences and birthrights for
for the proverbial bowls of soup
( Government appointments )..

Unlike their Muslim counterparts, they
will never stand up in defence of their faiths ..✝️✝️✝️
