Chris Ngige, Labour and Employment minister, has withdrawn from the next year’s presidential race to retain his ministerial seat.

Mr Ngige, a former Anambra governor, announced this in a statement on Friday, two days after President Muhammadu Buhari ordered ambitious ministers to either resign from their positions or shelve their political aspirations, with a May 16, 2022 deadline.

Buhari will soon sack any of ministers who already shown interest to vie for the presidency and later back tracked.

That's my observations anyway.
