Many of these students should just find something doing during this period of strike that can generate them some funds before resumption. If anyone is interested in learning affiliate marketing business, you can chat me up on WhatsApp through this number-09033818169. My teaching is free but only serious persons, please.

Not just that. ASUU has ulterior motives. This much is clear. All federal workers are on IPPIS. The police, military, civil service, etal without any complaint. Why has ASUU chosen to be adamant?
I think you can do a little more research on that. They have stated their reasons numerous times. Their work environment is not like the places you mentioned. Which of those services you mentioned go on sabbatical leave? there are other related stuffs like that not programmed on IPPIS. Again IPPIS is not the only reason for their strike, infact they started striking before IPPIS issue. Underfunding of the Universities and proliferation of universities while the existing ones are grossly underfunded. For me, ASUU has a genuine case, our public universities are nothing to write home about. It either the government adequately fund the universities or parents pay more fees.

Some of those guys work in more than 1 universities, and with ippis they will only get one salary

Ippis is not reliable... So many failed payments.. cuts workers salaries without any meaningful explanation..

There's no ulterior motive here. There are certain allowances in the University system that IPPIS has not captured hence affecting the lecturers

You don't have an idea on the peculiarity of the university system.

Stupidity at its purest form. If others are not questioning their existence, academics asks such questions and that is what differentiate them from people like you, who doesn't make use of their brains.
On my honour, I'd never enter an intellectual battle with an unarmed opponent. Have a nice day sir.

Could they simple capture those peculiarities instead of requesting preferential treatment? What if other sectors being to request to be excluded as well? Won't we return in full force to the era of ghost labour?

Universities shouldn't be on IPPIS. University is universal! It is not restricted to just lecturers employed by the university!

Lecturers come from different parts of the world to share knowledge and experiences with local universities via sabbaticals and the rest. If such foreign scholars are not on IPPIS, how do you expect them to be paid?

The UTAS is one of the genuine demands ASUU is making.
