APC Endorses Mohammed Tumala for Senate

A foremost support group of the ruling All Progressives Congress known as APC Youths Renaissance has endorsed Dr. Mohammed Tumala for Senate to represent Borno South Senatorial District in the coming 10th National Assembly.

In a statement signed by the North-East Coordinator of the group, Mr. Yusuf Abdul, the group said it was happy with the return of Dr. Tumala to mainstream politics after serving his people and Nigerians in various capacities as former member of the House of Representatives and Director of Statistics at the Central Bank of Nigeria where he showcased his undying love for the youths, women and the vulnerables in the country irrespective of class and religious backgrounds.

The group said: "At the time the APC-led Federal Government has set machinery in motion to lifting one hundred million Nigerians out of poverty in ten years time, Nigerians and the people of Borno South Senatorial District need a renowned economist and financial expert to assist in providing legislative frameworks for the actualisation of the dreams on records time."

Besides, we believe that Governor Babagana Zulum needed a tested, trusted and reliable hands in the Red Chamber to assist him in attracting Federal presence to complement the massive infrastructural and human capacity development programmes going-on in the state.

The group further noted that the time has come for the success story of Borno State to be told in the positive light and be exported to the global community in order to prove the point that there is no calamity that humanity cannot overcome if only we have the right leadership in place.

Therefore, we are using this opportunity to appeal to all the statutory and adhoc delegates that would be participating in the forth coming Senatorial Primary Electiorn of our great party to cast their votes for Dr. Mohammed Tumala to enable him to go and bring the much needed developments to our people and Nigerians in general.
